The birth of our baby girl was an incredibly beautiful experience and having Amanda by our side throughout played a big part in that. Amanda is experienced, knowledgeable, thoughtful and warm. She was available during my pregnancy whenever I had questions or concerns, and during labor, she was able to expertly apply comfort techniques. She is also great company, which was nice during a 15 hour labor at the hospital. 

During the delivery, when things at one point got scary, Amanda calmly advised and encouraged us and even shared part of her similar personal birth story which was very reassuring to hear at that moment.

She worked really well with the nurses and doctors - to the point where my OB asked for Amanda’s card to share with her other patients! We would wholeheartedly recommend Amanda to other families looking to have a birth doula.

The home birth of my second child was supported with compassion, care and warmth from Amanda Coles. When I was expecting my first daughter, I was emotionally overwhelmed, so connecting with Amanda put me at ease.  I knew after that experience that I would be in good hands with my second birth. Not knowing what to expect when you're expecting can be very stressful, so having a Doula to help you with resources, techniques, and communication with health professionals is comforting. My husband and I were very pleased with her doula services.  It is apparent that in just three years, Amanda has really expanded her skills, clientele, and knowledge as a reputable Doula. I highly recommend her as an advocate to work with you and the midwife or doctor to assure that your pregnancy, delivery, and postpartum experience is all that you imagined and hoped for when bringing a new life into your family and our world.
